Men's Steak Night
Come for a time of fellowship and great food Friday, November 6, 6:30-10:00 pm! Bring your favorite cut of meat, and we will supply the rest. You can grill it yourself or leave it to one of our highly trained grill masters. Please register by November 2. Location is off-campus and will be sent via email.
Men's Book Study
The men of CPC will be reading and discussing J. I. Packer’s book, Knowing God, starting in September 2026 and ending in April 2027. The book study will be facilitated in five different groups which meet weekly.
- Tuesday before work — Online, meets virtually at 6:30 am
- Wednesday evening — in person, meets at 7:00 pm at CPC
- Thursday lunchtime — in person, meets at 12:30 pm at CPC
- Friday before work — Online, meets virtually at 6:30 am
- Saturday morning — in person, meets Saturday mornings at CPC

Small Groups/City Groups
One of the great things about our church is that we are a community of people from all over Houston. One of the great challenges we wholeheartedly embrace is striving to live in community with one another outside of Sunday morning. City Groups are one way we do this.
City Groups are our version of small groups–for singles, men, women, couples, families, everyone!. Our City Groups exist for three primary purposes:
- Authentic Community
- Mutual Shepherding and Care
- An Essential Part of our Progressive Sanctification and Discipleship
Our long-term vision is to see 20 – 25 City Groups planted throughout Houston. We would love for these groups to be geographically sensitive, multigenerational, and coed (comprised of both men and women).
