Missions Weekend will be April 29 and 30, 2023. The theme is “Missions in Our Strange New World.”
GUEST SPEAKER DR. CARL TRUEMAN:
Our guest speaker will be Dr. Carl Trueman, a professor of humanities at Grove City College in Pennsylvania. He has been a faculty member at the Universities of Nottingham and Aberdeen in the UK and Westminster Theological Seminary in Pennsylvania, and is a former pastor of Cornerstone Presbyterian Church in Ambler, PA. Our Missions Weekend theme is “Missions in Our Strange New World,” based on his bestselling book Strange New World: How Thinkers and Activists Redefined Identity and Sparked the Sexual Revolution.

9:30am-10:30am – Lecture #1: “Welcome to Our Strange New World” (livestream)
10:30am-10:45am – Coffee break
10:45am-11:45am – Lecture #2: “How Technology Has Changed Everything” (livestream)
11:45am-1pm – Lunch
1pm-2pm – Lecture #3: “Where Do We Go from Here?” (livestream)
CHILDREN’S ACTIVITIES:
Children participating in Missions Weekend will be engaged in a full day of activities with the children’s ministry staff. They will hear from a guest speaker about the orphanage in Tumaini Village, make crafts to send to the children, and enjoy games and activities with their friends. Children will remain in programming for the duration of the day, including lunch. Programming will be offered for all children, nursery through 5th grade.
