What Is Stewardship?
A biblical worldview of stewardship starts with the conviction that “God owns it all” and we are simply his stewards (or temporary managers) of all that he has entrusted to us during our lifetime. This includes our time, our talent, our influence, our spiritual gifts, as well as our physical and financial resources. Learn more: Stewardship Resources

General Fund
The General Fund supports the annual budget needs of the church. Therefore, this fund is the necessary and appropriate place for your regular giving.
Endowment
The CPC Endowment Fund provides a level of support for the long-term financial health of this congregation and its ministries. It is a separate entity with its own governing board of CPC members. Memorial gifts, honorary gifts and estate gifts often go into the Endowment, and as a result these gifts “keep on giving.”
Tumaini Children’s Village (Soy Orphanage)
In 2006, the Session of CPC set aside funds to build the Tumaini Orphanage in Soy, Kenya. Learn more: Tumaini Children’s Village. To give online, click the Tumaini Giving button above. If you prefer to write a check, please pay to the order of “Soy Orphanage” or “Tumaini Orphanage.”
Tax advantages may be realized by donating appreciated stock you have owned for more than one year. Christ Presbyterian Church will sell and use the proceeds for its programs. You may contact Claudio Cordeiro at 713-255-7207 for information. Please notify the church financial office of your stock transfer. For contribution credit this calendar year, we must receive the gift on or before December 31. If mailing a check, it must be postmarked on or before December 31.
Please place your cash or check in the offering plate, or bring to the church office between the hours of 8:30-4:30 Monday through Friday. Checks can be mailed to Christ Presbyterian Church, 8300 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77024.
