DESCRIPTION:Fall 2025/Spring 2026 \nJudges & Romans: Ruined to Righteous \nJoin Mikie Bellis and the women of CPC for our study of Judges & Romans. \nWeekly lessons are provided free of charge\, and weekly lectures are presented live on Wednesday mornings. The podcast is posted on Tuesdays and the lecture audio is posted on the CPC website on Wednesday afternoons here: Women’s Bible Study. \nSchedule: Small group discussion of the lecture and lesson is offered: \n\nWednesdays from 9:30-11 am at CPC (lunch served at 11 am)\nOnline-only small groups meets on Tuesdays from 7-8 pm and Wednesdays from 1:30-2:30 pm\n\nChildcare \n\nOn Wednesdays\, we offer an enhanced children’s Bible study focusing on the truths of the women’s weekly lessons. Childcare will be provided through lunch\, until 12:00. Women are encouraged to stay for lunch to develop deeper relationships with one another while your children eat lunch with their friends. Childcare is provided for children in 5th grade and under. She’s been married to Scotty for 30 years\, who has served as the Pastor to Family Ministry at Woodruff Road Presbyterian Church in Simpsonville\, SC\, since 2001. They have three children and two bonus ones by marriage. Their son and his wife live in Charlotte where he’s the youth director at Christ Covenant Presbyterian Church. Their daughter and son-in-law live in Charleston\, SC\, and their youngest daughter is in 11th grade. \nKerry loves good coffee\, reading\, and being active (especially outside in the mountains!)\, all things 80’s pop culture\, and usually is found with one AirPod in listening to a podcast or audiobook. She loves her local church and putting her energy into teaching youth and ladies\, ministering to women\, and helping run a middle school summer camp. She also writes occasionally for the PCA women’s blog\, enCourage\, and speaks at women’s conferences. She is also the host of the podcast Mothers & Sisters. \nTOPIC: “Equipped for CALM: Self-Control through Biblical Discernment and Grace in Action” — With our time together we’ll look at how to think about and how to pursue biblical self-control in the face of God-ordained changes\, tests\, and trials and how to love others through it all. \nTheme Verse: 2 Tim 1:7 ESV – “For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”

DESCRIPTION:Join us for a women’s summer book study! \nA Heart Set Free\, by Christina Fox\, was highly recommended by our 2026 retreat speaker\, Kerry Anderson. It explores more deeply what Kerry spoke about at the retreat. \nBook Summary:\n“For many of us\, we might busy ourselves with projects or work long hours to keep our mind off our pain. We might look at our circumstances and seek to change our situation in the hope that we will finally feel at peace once our life has changed. The question is – How often do you look to God in His Word for help and hope? How often do you turn to Him when you feel anxious\, distraught\, or abandoned? How often do you bring your burdens to your Savior? Take a journey of hope through the Psalms of lament with Christina Fox.” \nWe will be meeting about 1 mile from the church (location will be sent to you upon registering) on Wednesday evenings\, 7 – 8:30 pm\, for seven weeks starting in June. Come and go each week as you are able for this great opportunity for fellowship and discussion. Feel free to invite a friend! \nRemaining space is limited.
