DESCRIPTION:Men\, plan to join us for our 2023 Men’s Retreat February 3 & 4 at Camp Blessing (7227 Camp Blessing Ln\, Brenham\, TX 77833). Our speaker will be Dr. David Strain. Dr. Strain will speak on “The Priorities of Prayer” from John 17. We will begin with dinner on Friday\, February 3\, and conclude after lunch on Saturday\, February 4. The cost is $125. Scholarships are available. Please contact bmcdougal@cepc.org for more information on scholarships. 								\n				\n				\n				\n									About Our Speaker\, David StrainDr. David Strain was born in Glasgow\, Scotland. He holds degrees from Duncan Jordanstone College of Art\, Trinity College Glasgow/School of Divinity\, the Free Church of Scotland College in Edinburgh\, and Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson. He was ordained to the gospel ministry in the Free Church of Scotland in September 2003\, and has held pastoral charges in London\, England\, and Columbus\, MS. Since May 2013\, David has served on the pastoral staff of First Presbyterian Church in Jackson and was installed as Senior Minister in May 2014. He was awarded a Doctor of Ministry degree from Reformed Theological Seminary (Jackson) in 2016.
