SUMMARY:Men's Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Men\, plan to join us for our 2025 Men’s Retreat February 7-8 at Camp Blessing (7227 Camp Blessing Ln\, Brenham\, TX 77833). \nOur speaker will be Jonathan Master\, President of Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. His topic for our time together will be “A Man Of The Word” Studies in Psalm 119. \nWe will begin with dinner on Friday\, February 7 and conclude after lunch on Saturday\, February 8. \nThe cost is $130. Scholarships are available. \nPlease contact BJ McDougal in the church office if you have questions. \n					\n									Retreat Registration\n					 \nAbout Our Speaker\nDr. Master served in pastoral ministry in several congregations in Maryland and Pennsylvania\, and subsequently as Dean and Professor of Theology at Cairn University near Philadelphia\, Pennsylvania. He has taught for numerous other institutions including Westminster Seminary (UK) and Edinburgh Theological Seminary. Dr. Master is the author and editor of books including A Question of Consensus: The Doctrine of Assurance After the Westminster Confession (Fortress Press\, 2015)\, The God We Worship (P&R\, 2016)\, On Reforming Worship (Covenant Publications\, 2018)\, Growing in Grace (Banner of Truth\, 2020)\, and Reformed Theology (P&R\, 2023). He contributes regularly to a variety of periodicals\, including Tabletalk Magazine. Dr. Master serves on the Executive Council of the Gospel Reformation Network\, as well as on the Board of Directors of the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals\, where he hosts the “Theology on the Go” podcast for the Alliance with James Dolezal.

DESCRIPTION:CPC and the Missions Committee are pleased to announce our preacher for Missions Weekend is Rev. Matthew Eusey. Rev. Eusey is an ordained teaching elder in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) serving as Pastor at Truth Point Church (PCA) in West Palm Beach\, Florida. \nRev. Eusey will be delivering sermons on Friday evening\, February 28 and Sunday\, March 2. Friday evening activities will begin with dinner at 6:30 p.m. followed by a sermon from Rev. Eusey. He will also preach in our morning worship services on March 2 and in an evening worship service beginning at 5:30 p.m. Register now for the Friday and Sunday evening events. \nMany of our supported missionaries will be on Main Street between services on Sunday\, March 2. You will have an opportunity to meet\, encourage\, and find out more about their ministries. Matthew Eusey\nMatt Eusey and serves as senior pastor at Truth Point Church (PCA) in West Palm Beach after previously serving churches in Philadelphia\, South Carolina\, Orlando\, Seattle\, and Hawaii. He was born and raised in Philadelphia and is a graduate of Columbia International University and Reformed Theological Seminary. He loves the Word\, the Church\, being with people\, following and playing sports\, drinking coffee (without cream)\, reading\, and listening to podcasts on a variety of subjects. Matt and his wife\, Karyn\, have 5 children and crazily homeschool all of them. But most importantly\, while in seminary\, he was a Teacher’s Assistant and graded all of Pastor Richard’s Hebrew assignments over the course of 3 semesters. Matt believes this to be one of the most formative experiences of his life.
